rem. 700 serial dates

good day everyone. new to highroad. need help to figure out serial date of manufacture on a rem. 700 rifle i own. b6281xxx. cannot find dates regarding its manufactured dates and other info.can someone shed some light on issue?

Call Remington for an accurate date. This source is pretty accurate though with most guns.

As long as it has the factory barrel this should be accurate. Use the code on the barrel.

There were a few years in the early 90's when Remington did not stamp date codes on their barrels however.
