I took low res pictures yesterday of my High Powers. Dig the Inglis "Box Cannon" which I shot yesterday . The next one up is a 1969 T series with the "beer can" adj. sights which makes it a " sport model" good thing too as it and the Inglish like only ball ammo! The OD one is a Nato miltary contract Belgian Browning marked Mark 2 and is my favorite one and is always cocked and loktd. It feeds everything and it LOVES Win Ranger 147 grain as it lives in the Dog Track holster that fits so well! Yes Dr. Bob I will remember to put the mag in , but no problem as it has no mag safety AND with the Aluma grips, dead on sights and decent trigger the one shot up the pipe in the cabeza should do it ! The top gun is a modestly rubbed on Practical with a 2.5# trigger and respringing and some custom parts. A beautiful gun with the Esmeralda grips and the most accurate minor caliber I own.

A very good man.

He had a lot to give, and gave a lot of himself to the shooting fraternity.

I miss his wisdom and experience.

Very nice Highpowers. I only have three, always on the hunt.

Oh Gordon, I'd be surprised if old "beer can" etc. won't feed the old Remington 115gr hollowpoints. They still sell them new and they "work" magnificently.
 
I watched for his posts

I read them intently and reread them to make certain I got everything I could out of them.
I have his website bookmarked and reference it frequently, I also bought his book about Hi-Powers
He was a blessing to our community and is sorely missed by many of us,
What more could I say about Stephen? Blessing to him, and his family.
 
Mr. Camp is best known for his excellent writing on the BHP, but he also wrote some of the best articles on the web on practical handguns and their performance and use. He was also a gentleman of the highest order and both kind and helpful to all he spoke to. He is missed.

I miss Stephen's gun reviews, and comparisons, and just his general polite demeanor. He also really knew his stuff.
 
he had a very good message board where i was a member. he was a top notch guy.

all i know about his death is that he wasnt too terribly old, in his 60s i believe, but no indications of bad health or medical problems.
