I inherited a gun recently. It is a Remington 03-A3. I don't know much about it. It appears to be an older model. The stock has some scratches on it. I've never shot it. Does anyone have experience with this rifle? How much could I sell it for in a private sale, or what is the value of it? I don't plan on selling it, I'm just curious. I attached a few pics.

Since it's been sporterized it has no value as a collector piece. Just looking at the pictures it's probably worth in the 250 range. Have it checked by a competent gunsmith prior to shooting.

I hate to say it, but as something you inherited, it's worth more to you than anyone outside your family.

Here is a nice sporter, that no one has bid on starting at $250

Here is one going for $53, but you could buy it now for $275

Not to be rude, but looking at your pictures, $200 might be a good deal if you could sell it for that.

Keep it, and the memories of the person who thought enough of you to let you have it on their passing.

It been sporterized so no serious collector would want it. Might be able to sell it in the $175 - $250 range if it is still a OK shooter.

You could go to the trouble to restock in GI wood with GI metal and basically return it to historically correct.
