03-A3 Remington '43 Stocks available and Questions

My little Brother just aquired a 03-A3 Remington and sent me this.

Also since I know you have alot of contacts i just accquired a 1943 Remington model 03-A3 but the stock is missing the top forend so if you know of anyone who can get a new top peice or even the whole stock if i have to go that way i would appreciate it. Well gotta go for now time to put Conner down for his nap. Hope to hear back from you soon.[/I]

I dont know where he thinks I can find one in Baghdad,...so can you help me out on this one?

Try CMP, gunparts, or most stockmakers. What he wants, I think, is the handguard.

Sounds like he needs the handguard. They are easy to find, he can google it

I googled quickly before I posted. I will try again when I get up in the morning.
I will post the serial number here and maybe you Military Gun Guru's can tell me a bit more or direct me to a site that covers more Older Military stuff.
Hopefully this will keep his grubby paws away from my Garands a few more years.
