Boy, did I get a deal. A guy I know no longer had any use for a Remington Nylon .22 Mohawk is pretty good condition. He GAVE it to me. Plus, he threw in the case. All I had to do is pay the FFL transfers on both ends and postage.
Hard to beat free. Do not attempt to take it apart. They can be a nightmare to get back together properly. There's a free .pdf manual here. Bit over 5 megs. A Nylon 66 is the same thing. http://stevespages.com/pdf/remington_66.pdf
The Nylon 66's are great rifles. You were lucky to get one. If you do need to take it apart, don't be intimidated. Just pay attention to what you are doing and keep your exploded view handy in case you need to refer to it. It's really not that difficult.
Enjoy your new rifle.
