Remington. 243 bdl barrel shortening

By way of follow up and out of courtesy I can tell you all that taking 5 inches off the barrel did not seem to affect the accuracy at all. I use remington ammunition. I asked about this in 2016. Apologies for the delay.

Ive found the shortening a barrel will if anything improve accuracy, unless you end up with a bad crown lol.

Yup - shorter sticks = less flex. All you lose is velocity.
