remington 512 sportmaster

Let me start by tellin u i've already posted this @ rimfire central. I bought a 512 today thats in pretty tough shape. I think i'm gonna fix it up, how hard are this to totally strip and put back together?

Also does anyone have an informed opinion on this particular rifle?

No useful info - I shoot a 513. But it's a good project. Should not be too tough

I have a Sportmaster mfg 1949. Easy to work on. It was given to me on my 10th birthday. Informed opinion? I love it. My mostest favorite plinking rifle.
