I have a Remington Model 660 rifle with a trigger pull that is too heavy for me (I'd guess around 8 LBS). I found this trigger at Midway USA for a Remington Model 600 and I am wondering if it will work?

I am pretty sure the 600 and 660 are nearly identical, but I am wondering if any of you know if that trigger will work. Do any of you know of a different company that offers a 660 trigger if the trigger won't work? Thanks!!!

triggers

hello anything that will fit the rem 700 will fit the rem 600/660/7/xp-100/722/ect
there triggers are the same
i have a jewel trigger in my xp-100 bench rifle and i have a shilin in my rem 600 custom 6mm br deer rifle
and i have a couple timmys in my 17 rem 600 and my 221 fireball 660
anything trigger wise the rem 700 action will accept the rem 600/660 will also
and i have 5 other rem 600/660 rifles that my smith just did trigger jobs on and all pull under 2lbs except my 350 mag witch will pull alittle over 2 , so you can also have a smith clean the original one up its a good trigger too
good luck

not correct, or at least not correct for "all" m-600 rifles. the 600 i owned would not accept a 700 trigger, the 600 and the 700 ARE different designs, at least regarding the 600s available in the mid 60's when mine was made.

and remember that the XP-100 action was changed from a 600/660 type to a 700 type at one point (probably when the tooling wore out) so not all XPs are the same.
