Remington 700 FS (Fiberglass Stock)

Has anyone owned or have information on the Remington 700 FS. According to one source, I have learned that the rifle was produced for 3 years in the late 80's. It came in RH & LH actions. Firberglass stock in gray or camo finish. It appears to be like a KS type rifle but maybe an earlier version. Any information would be great. I ask because I bought a LH 30-06 version. Thanks

I remember them. The stocks are sturdy, but HEAVY. They did not sell well, at least partly because people wanting a synthetic stock expected a lightweight. If the weight does not bother you they are good guns.
