remington 700 ss 5r

does anyone know if the remington 700 ss 5r is long or short action? not that it matters particularly, just curious.

I believe both. if it is the .308 model it should be short. if the .300wm model will be long definitely.

Right, the 5R is available in short and long actions, caliber dependent. The short actions have a 24 in barrel, while the long actions have a 26in barrel.
