Is the Remington 770 any good? How does it compare to the 700? I am curious if they improved it over the 710 and if it is worth the money or is still junk?
    Thanks

    Garbagio,

After handling one I would recommend something else I hear the Savage 110's are pretty good.

    ...NO...

It is the economic(cheap) version of.....a bolt action rifle. Ha! you thought I was going to say a cheap version of the 700...didn't you! lol hehehe

The 700 is a MUCH better rifle than the 770.

But the Savages are IMHO, much better than the Remingtons nowadays...wasn't always like that, but it is now.

The Remington 770 is the WORST rifle ever built. I have already written to Remington letting them know how ashamed they should be for building that rifle. People that buy them should be forced to hit themselves.
