Remington 870 Express ... my first real Shotgun

I finally decided to purchase my first real Shotgun, not that my Stoeger Single wasn't, but after much contemplation, I decided to get a Remington 870 Express (came with a 10-loader Mag Tube) 12/28 3".

I chose the 870, based on recommendation, price, reputation, versatility and you can buy tons of stuff for it. I was able to buy other accessories too because it was so reasonable. I'm a bit prissy when it comes to my guns. I like pretty guns.

I shot it a few times Saturday and it was awesome. A little sore on the shoulders (expected), but everything else was all good.

Congrats, but hold up on the dressing. Shoot it plenty. After a few thousand rounds( which will go faster than you may think) you'll be in a better position to determine what you may need and what is just bling.

I dunno WK - have both and the Express gets drug out more - sort of like the girl friend - low maintenance and high performance is mo' better than the opposite, IMHO!

I also just purchased a 870 express. I apted for the "Super Magnum" though because I wanted to ability to take it turkey hunting. The thought of "modding" my shotgun hadent even crossed my mind, I was planning on getting a case or 2 of ammo and getting to know my new best friend.
