Remington 870 Magazine Extension

I am configuring an 870 Police Magnum with a 14" barrel. I want the magazine tube to run the full length of the barrel. Is a 1-shot or 2-shot extension my best bet? If you have pictures of 14" barreled 870s with 1-shot and 2-shot extension, please post. Also, what are your recommendations for extension makes? Thanks.

Where are you located? I'm under the impression that 18 inches is the shortest barrel length in the U.S. unless the gun has the proper tax stamp.

You are not going to find one that ends flush. Put the Wilson Combat one shot on the gun and you still have a 5+1 Capacity. See them at www.wilsoncombat.com

Ah tax stamps for SBSs, SBRs, machine guns, and suppressors is more of a guideline and a "nice to have." Just kidding... I've got my tax stamp for it (eForm came back approved last week).

Thanks for the info. I saw the Wilson and was leaning that direction. How much will a +2 mag extension go past the barrel?

The two shot would defeat the point of having the 14" Barrel as it would extend well past it.
