Remington 870s in Germany

Hey guys, sorry for the weird topic, but I've been trying to hash this out on some other forums, and I'm unable to find the information I need.

Wikipedia says that the German army and Military police use the Remington 870, but I am unable to find any photos or further information about it. I realize it is not a standard issue weapon, but surely someone knows something.

What I would like to see is a photo of any German Military personnel with the 870 - any year or branch of service would be helpful. Barring that, I would just like to know if they use wood or plastic stocks and what kind of sighting system they have (bead or iron sights).

Believe it or not, I have been searching extensively on Google, as well as other internet forums dedicated to military topics, and I am unable to find anything solid.

Any help on the use of the 870 in Germany at all would be appreciated.
 
Look for soem late 1970's early 1980's articles on GSG9.

That also made use of COlt .38 Special revolvers and even had a German ammunition manufacturer develop a special bullet for the .38s after a failure.

I seem to recall them using the 870.

The regular Polezi I worked with were ga-ga over Shotguns and wanted one more than their Mp5s......meanwhile in the US..... Everybody is sure that somebody elses gun is better.

Not much help, but the Second Season of Deadliest Warrior featured U.S. SWAT vs. the German GSG 9 and it's both in Wiki and YT--not saying it's empirical data but it's something...:

Found some results thanks to suggestions.

I think the problem in my searching was that I was including the 870 model name in my searches, and that just brings up to much crud. Searching for generics actually brought up more pertinent results.

The images I'm seeing show the 870 being used as a PGO breacher, and the H&K 512 being used as a combat shotgun.
