Mine turned 100 last year. I took it to the range to celebrate.

It's light, balances beautifully, and has negligible recoil in .30 Remington. On the other hand, the factory sheet-metal sights are definitely cheesy and the mag lips are *way* down inside the receiver; my fat fingers make it awkward to reload.

I get a big stupid grin every time I pull the trigger, though. How many other hundred-year-old semiauto sporting rifles are out there?

Some time ago I was in a LGS and they had one, rusty, beat and wanted $1200.00. I passed.
