Never seen one of these until browsing the Bud's website. A pump action 223 rifle? Looks kinda kewl. Not sure how a pump action rifle would feel (I've only tried that action in a shotgun).

Are these set up to be able to mount a scope on it?

Here are the stats:

At last, a light, handy and quick in action duty/patrol rifle using a higher capacity magazine. The Model 7615P Pump rifle, based on the rugged and reliable Model 870 shotgun, delivers first shot accuracy and ultra-fast follow-up shots as the shooter instantly chambers another round from the higher capacity magazine.

The Model 7615P comes in .223 Remington caliber, uses standard M16/AR15 style magazines and has a 16 1/2" barrel. Also, transition from the Model 870 Pump shotgun into this patrol rifle is easily accomplished.

" Available in standard rifle sight or Wilson Combat / XS Sight Company sighting systems.
" Speedfeed Stocks are used on most of the models but we also now include the AR collapsible style stock from Advanced Technologies. Be it Standard or Pistol Grip Stocks, they are available in 13" and 14" Length of Pull (LOP).
" All 7615's are supplied with a "low profile" 10 round magazine.
" The 7615's provided to the 5.11 Challenge performed flawlessly all summer and will be featured again in the 2006 Challenge.
" Rotary Bolt Lock-up Design for exceptional strength, safety and hallmark reliability.
" Parkerized Finish and Rugged, Black Synthetic Stock and Fore-end with sling swivel studs.

If memory serves me plain old 760 Gamemasters were made in small quantities aimed for law enforcement sales. Maybe back in the seveties? Can someone else help us out....Essex

These were designed so the LEO wouldn't have to train up on a new rifle, if he was already carrying and trained on an 870.

I have one of the 7615 rifles and think its just the berries. It points just like a shotgun because that is basicly what it is. The mag well will take AR15 mags of any size. They have to have a cutout at the upper rear to work. I bought a stoner mag from Midway that wouldn't work. I used a grinder and modified the mag and it works fine now.

If you have ever picked up and shouldered a nylon 66 that is how it points for me. I shot a bird out of the air and a running rabbit with my nylon 66 on the same day after my partner missed both with a shotgun.

I wish mine had the adjustable buttstock. I got the 14" LOP and had to shorten it. The youth stock is a better choice. As far as accuracy goes mine will shoot in an inch with good loads. You can mount a scope on it. I had a Leopold 2x7 vx1 on mine but went back to open sights because of the natural pointabiliy.

My gun does not feed the S&B of Wolf ammo well. The S&B acts as if the rim is undersized and does not always eject. The Wolf acts like the rim is to large and jams in the bolt face and has to be pulled loose.

Remington brass and military brass seems to be fine. I have wondered if other Remington bolt guns had this same problem. Hope this helps with or question.

And so civilians in California and other restricted states could buy a non-auto EBR:)
