I bought some factory 80g PSP Remington Express ammo to get this baby ready for some yotes.

I took the rifle out today for the first time to zero it. After 1 four round groups at 100 yards to see where it was shooting and adjusting a second 4 round group to about 1 inch over dead center and then moving to 200 yards and firing 2 more four round groups, I put a fresh target up and shot my last 4 round group.

I was more than satisfied with this factory ammo. I can't wait to figure out the best handload once I get started loading for it.

this is at 200 yards with a Coyote Special BDC 4.5 - 14x with the circle reticle. It makes me wonder how much of this was the factory ammo and how much of it was me shooting this type of reticle for the first time.

Quite possibly you shooting this type of reticle, but the more you shoot it, the more accustomed you'll become with it. I put a new trigger on my rifle awhile back, its shooting waaaaay better than it did, but its still taking me some time to get used to it going off so much smoother. If you reload, you'll get some amazing groups when you start rolling your own, you'll have those 4 shot groups crawling inside one hole! Good luck!

Sweettttt

S., That is a great group. The R-25 is a very nice rifle and I have a lot of friends that shoot it in .308. I'm a big fan of both. Very impressive what you did with that rifle and Nikon Coyote Special Scope. Keep the pics coming!
