Remington R3 Recoil Pad????

Does anyone have a source for a discounted Remington R3 recoil pad for a Remington synthetic stock 870?

I shot my 870 Police gun today to make sure it would still go "BOOM", and I could still hit the ground in front of my feet.

Enough is enough.
My shoulder problem makes shooting the synthetic stock and original rubber pad too painful to continue.

I want to get some reduced recoil buckshot loads and a Remington R3 recoil pad.
This should make shooting possible again.

I don't want to change stocks or install any type of recoil reducer, so the R3 is it.

I think that the R3 is made by Sims. Maybe they make a non-branded one for less money than the R3? Just a thought.
What kind of pad is on your synthetic now? I have found that the pads on all my synthetic stocks, stock Remington and Hogue, are very soft already.

Mike is correct, Sims stopped selling it and is making it for Rem only under their name. Brownell's is the only place online I've seen it. Take your time and piece together a big order to take advantage of the one rate shipping. I always find more than I can afford.

I shot 500 rounds of reduced-recoil buckshot and slugs in one weekend through my R3-equipped 870, and I didn't even get bruised. Highly recommended.

In the last flyer I recieved from Midway USA they had them on sale for $19.99!

I have two and I think they are the best pad, bar none.
