I have one in .375 H&H. I got it for all-around heavy game use in any climate and weather. It is currently at my gunsmith's, getting a B&C Medalist sporter stock, in a Weatherby profile, to help with recoil (I like the Monte Carlo and cast-off to help redirect some of the recoil momentum).
It's a great version of the Rem 700 and shoots to 1" at 100 yards...so far. I expect my hand loads will improve on that.
Since the .375 H&H will handle all magnum needs, my next caliber is the .280 Rem...badly marketed, it is woefully under-rated by hunters. With a bullet only 7/1000s larger in diameter than a .270 Win, it nicely handles a 175 grain bullet much more efficiently than a 7mm Rem Mag. I only use bullets up to 140 gr in my .270 Win.
