hey I own a Colt trooper mkIII 357 , I have tried cleaning the finish with several different polishes ,with no success removing oxidation off the gun.I forgot I had some metal polish cream made by BLUEMAGIC did a little research on the net, before trying it on painted blueing on gun. My Colt had several areas on the frame that were kind of cloudy. It was made in 1978, I purchased used. I was very impressed with the results of this product. It totally removed all the bad spots, and no harm to the blueing.The finish is excellent.
