Removing the X-Bolt adjustment screw

I wanted to lower the weight of pull on my Browning X-Bolt.




I turned the screw all the way and it really didn't appear to get lighter. I called Browning and the CS guy said you can actually completely unscrew the screw all the way out and leave it out (remove the screw from the gun), which would leave the trigger at it's lightest.




Have you ever heard of this? Does it sound plausible?

I remove the screw on my x-bolt and its working fine.The pull weight should be around 3lbs that way,if you want to go lower you will have to get an aftermarket spring.

Did the same thing with mine almost 2 years ago and it works just fine.
