Replacement barrel for Mossberg 500?

I own a Mossberg 500 with an 18.5" barrel for HD. Will a 26" (or longer) replacement barrel fit this gun? I would like to use it for trap/bird hunting rather than buy an additional gun.

Cabelas has the line of Mossberg barrels. I am getting the 18.5" barrel Saturday.

The cost,with shipping,of a new barrel is so close to the price of a used Mossberg I'd be tempted to just buy a whole gun if there are some near you.
