I have a new Glock-17 and I love it--except....the grip gets uncomfortable after a while.

I've seen decal and HOGUE grips on the web, are there other options? Which would you recommend?

Thanks :)

If you google "grip reductions" for Glocks, you should be able to find a gunsmith that can shape your Glock grip to something that fits you better.

My favorite is to simply cut about 2" from a bicycle innertube and slip it over the grip, Use a sharp knife to trim. In my opinion it is better than any other slip on grip.

I've never seen any of the decal type grips that don't eventually start peeling up at the corners.

The grips, as you probably know, are an integral part of the frame. You can add decals, sleeves and such, but these are mostly for added "traction" in your hand and can only make a large grip even larger. If you want the grip smaller or the angle changed, this can only be done by a grip reduction. Finger grooves, if they are in the wrong place for your fingers, can be ground off and the frontstrap restippled.
