Replacement Rear Sight for Remington 870 Rifle Sights Slug Barrel?

Found an old 870 20" smoothbore slug barrel with rifle sights while reorganizing things in the basement. The rear sight is a pretty useless (to my eyes) blade on a very solid base that appears to be brazed or silver soldered to the barrel. I'm wondering if anyone has ever seen any alternative sights for this arrangement?

I removed the blade setup and had a peep installed. The base is still on the barrel but not in the way of anything.

Mind over matter. I don't mind it so it don't matter...

Both are direct replacements on the factory bases.

Thanks, Dave & Lee. This is a 1974 Wingmaster Mag that's in great shape, which is why I'm thinking about something that would fit on the existing rear base. The Trijicon or the XS looks like they might be good candidates.

It also looks like Williams may make a flat-base rear sight that might work. I'll have to give them a call to really find out, though - their website is very not, ummm, detail-rich.
