How do you take off and install an aperture on A2 rear sights?

Punch the roll pin on the windage knob out using a 1/16" roll pin punch.
Carefully pull the windage knob off so you don't lose the spring and detent ball underneath.
Unscrew the apeture using the screw on left side, you may have to apply thumb pressure to the apeture as you get close to the screw coming free because of the flat leaf spring under the apeture wanting to push it up, binding the screw.
Reassemble in reverse making sure you get the through hole in the windage knob aligned with the through hole in the screw before you attempt to tap the roll pin back in place. HTH
