Has anybody changed the firing pin spring on a Kimber model 8400 (270WSM)? I have done a couple of hundred Model 70's, but the Kimber is a little different, and rather than just start experimenting, I thought I would see if anybody else has tackled this task. Thanks.

I can't help.

In fact, I can't even imagine why a Kimber 8400 would need a new firing pin spring??

Thanks RC. I don't know either, but a gentleman brought it in after a range session, with a box of new factory ammo. Only about 50% of them fired at the range, and it is obvious that the firing pin is not hitting them hard enough. I cleaned, oiled and inspected everything else and can find nothing else wrong.
