I never said that each individual chose to live there because of that. And I'm in no way saying that its wrong. What we earn and choose to do with it is each individuals choice... And I really don't care what someone makes, or what they have, or where they live... I should have worded that differently... We are capitalist, and that is perfectly fine and how it should be... My point was more that, in most places, gated communities are to set the higher class apart from lower class residents outside.. not for the safety of the individual residents... It was a case of mischosen words. Don't take offence. As that was not the point of the post.
