. My friend has given me a shotgun with a damascus barrel. In one area something had spilt on it causing a dark discoloration. I tried to remove it but could not. I polished the barrel with a purple scotch pad and oil. I got some Laurel Mountain barrel brown. I started last night and following the directions continue today. I live in VT and is very dry in the winter so have rigged up a humidifier in the bathroom to help but it is going slow which is ok by me. The question I have is does anyone know what once I have finished browning what should I do to make this the best.

Great video. Those Midway tutorials are really something.

I keep telling myself that I'm going to commit some to disc against them ever being unavailable through cancel-culture or simply economics in the future.

I wonder how long it took in real-time to do the 14 repeats along with the rest of the operation? The result sure looks worth it.

Of course, then I'd have to dress the frame & wood to comparable levels too.;)

Todd.

Yes it is a wall hanger. That is why I'm trying to make it look pretty. Haven't figured how to finish it off
