Returning Garands and Carbines from Korea

CMP's rifles are not drying up yet. They have years left in the current bacth. They dont sell Rack Grades online as that is what the are using to build their Specials.
Service Grades are temporarily sold out, I would expect them back after the first of the year
Field Grades are parts rifles IMO

There's a difference between a beater rifle and one that has mechanical issues. A $200 Garand is no kind of deal if the barrel is shot out, the sights won't adjust properly, or some of the small parts are broken.

Ah, gotcha. I have no use for parts rifles. I have enough parts cars, no need to expand to parts guns too!

I read that also on the CMP forum. With the rate the Garands were going out of CMP the last year, it will be interesting to see if Orst is right with his estimate. I talked to one of the armors from there and he wasn't so sure.
