Okay, no way is this meant to be a criticism. Before I frequented internet boards, the idea that someone would buy a shotgun primarliy as a defensive weapon never even crossed my mind. I mean other than a single shot propped in the corner or such. I am not questioning that it makes sense or anything, I just didn't realize that was a whole 'nother branch of the shotgunner's world. With some maxed out weaponry.
That's a whole other bunch of folks that are liable to be even more difficult than me with my 357 or 44 to pry their gun from their cold dead fingers. And this has also got to have some burglars missing serious shut eye time, too. We need to get CSI to do a show about an investigation into a double killing where the bad guys broke into the wrong house, and they are having trouble matching up all the body parts with the decedents. The killings turn out to be obviously and entirely justifiable, of course.
