As any Hi Power owner probably knows, it can be tough to find a good holster.

Now we have another option.

A little over a week ago, I had the pleasure of meeting the Utah Redneck Shooter's Association, and among them, Eric Larsen of HBE Leatherworks. After a great day of shooting, Eric kindly bestowed upon me a holster for R&D work.

Since then, I've worn the holster around the house every day. It is very comfortable -- the most comfy holster I have by a large margin.

Fit is excellent. Inserting the gun into the holster is rewarded with a satisfying 'click' when the gun is fully in. :D Retention is good. The holster can be held upside down and shaken gently and still retain the gun. Drawing the clean and easy, allowing a fast draw. Reholstering is also easy, thanks to the hard-boned leather.

I certainly don't want to sound like I'm gushing , but there really isn't anything I can find about this holster that I don't like. I'll be buying another HBE holster soon (an IWB).

Wes ;)

Well........Fume thanks for the kind words. I appreciate it and Im glad you are melding with the holster well. Sven thanks for the assistance also.

I like my Arcus alot but it needs more URSA desert work to really get a good test :D Your BHP is very nice............

Shoot well.

Looks to be a fine holster....... only one pic missing Wes .. one ''in situ''!! :p

The cant angle appears excellent .. something I put a lot of store by ... whilst I can cope with near vertical .. 15º or so fwd rake is good.

Nice work Eric.:)

You're right... I'll be shooting one soon. I also need one of the holster upside down.

Now I'd better stop before I decide to make a sound file of the 'click.' :p

Wes

P95 it is an FBI Cant on that particular holster.....but can be anything you want it to be........really.

Wes.....If you make a sound file of it going "click"....Ill have to find a way to put it on my website :D

Shoot well.............

Lenny.........
I dont have any specific way to build the holsters.....you get what you want...cant/color/rd ht/bla bla bla..............
The first pic is the Pro model and runs around 60-70$ shipped and depends on the details you pic.
The second is a Com 2 and is about 5 $ more......

I do lefty's, righty's and anything else you can fathom.

Shoot well.......................

The quickest way to tell if a holster is well made is to look at the stitching lines. In this case, they parallel eachother and follow the edges of the holster, as well as the belt cutouts. That's a very well done job.

And I just happen to have a new hipower.....
