Has anyone bought from this site in the past? I was just surfing thrugh there. I had about given up on finding any better deals for ammo online than what I could get locally, but this site has some really great prices. Looks like everything is reloaded. Any thoughts about buying here?

Haven't used the website but have used the ammo at a local range.

It seemed fine...maybe a little dirty when compared to some factory loaded stuff.

I'd compare it to georgiaarms' stuff...which I shoot exclusively in my AR.

Bought a 1000 rds of 200 gr LSWC ammo for my .45 from them this year; very straight-forward sale, prompt delivery, and they seemed like nice folks (I think it's a father/son operation).

The ammo seems well put together and goes bang every time.

Background: I had ordered a box through Midway while I was looking for soft 200 gr. target loads. I liked it enough to hunt down the company website and order a bunch.
It's actually quite a bit cheaper from them than getting the 1000 from Midway.

I'd recommend them.

As you can see from my sig, I used to shoot Lancer exclusively in practice and competition. They would custom load my match ammo to my specs and their bulk practice ammo was good. A little dirty, but good. The gent that runs the place would even bring the ammo to me sometimes if I couldn't get out to him. Good guy and a good product.

They provide a lot of the local PD's with their range ammo, and I have heard of issues here and there, but nothing Lancer didn't correct and make right immediately.

The only reason I don't shoot it anymore is that I started reloading my own ammo.

I bought a case of .223 from them. Transaction went well, delivery was timely, etc. Within the first 100 rounds I had no less than 3 light charges (enough for bullet to leave barrel but not enough to cycle action). When I had a squib round stick in the barrel I quit shooting it.

The customer service was good, they followed up their sale in a couple of weeks with an e-mail asking me how I liked the product. I told them exactally what had happened and they offered to replace it for me for free (they would pay shipping etc.). As I responded to them... given the failure rate that I had experienced how could I trust my life with their product.

I have heard from others however that their pistol ammunition is good. I don't hold a grudge they offered to try to make it right, but I won't buy from them.

Wow! I've not purchased ammo from them in well over a year, and it seems that their reputation has gone decidedly south in the past few months. Perhaps I should remove the link from my sig...
