I’ve always appreciated quality leather goods, especially belts and holsters. I’ve always felt that any handgun worth owning deserves to ride in a quality custom fitted holster. So for several years now, I’ve turned to Ray at Lobo Leather for my holsters and related accessories.

I was impressed enough with Ray’s new design, the “Lobo Combat Classic” that I ordered one to fit my 2 ½” M-66. When it arrived last Monday I was even more impressed with the finished product. As advertised its stiff, being composed of two pieces of leather. It was so stiff that I needed a firm push the first time to fully set my M-66 in it. As the directions suggested I let the revolver sit in the holster several hours then I removed the revolver from the holster a dozen times, with each removal becoming smoother than the one before it.

The holster is a snug fit on my Lobo made gun/pants belt, this fit assures there will be no annoying holster shifting once attached to your belt. Do to the excellent belt- holster fit I quickly forgot that I was wearing a gun.

Offering stability, security, ease of draw, and one hand re-holstering; an often overlooked, yet very important holster function. The Combat Special will be an excellent option for anyone who has the need for a discrete carry, high quality holster at a reasonable price.

+1 for Ray and Lobo. I have multiple holsters including the Tom Threeperson for revolvers and several pancake type for 1911's. I have a couple of his belts as well.
