REVOLVER .50 caliber

The "any other info" is that no one has ever made a DA revolver like you want in .50 caliber, except the .500 S&W.
It is a hand-cannon that weighs as much as some rifles.

If that don't fit your needs, you are out of luck.

If you would settle for .44 or .45 caliber, any number of excellent new & used guns are available.

what about a gun like the one in the pic just with a 6.5inch barrel

There are no blued revolvers manufactured in 500 S&W. The Smith in stainless is probably the best. Taurus makes a 500 as I recall. The BFR comes in 500 also, but it is a single action.

If Ruger ever comes out with a 500 it will also likely be in stainless steel. I can't see it happening, but you never know. The Super Redhawk in 480 Ruger has not been highly successful. I have one. They are available in 7.5 and 9.5" models. The 454 Casul version seems to be more popular with buyers. It's a handfull to shoot and I have little need or desire to own a 500 S&W. By the way, the 480 Ruger is a very good caliber and you'd probably be very happy with it vs a 500. It also is a stainless DA revolver.

If you can find a used PC Hunter blued 500 Mags you can have a blued 500 Mag, but they no longer make them.

Ruger will never come out with a 500 mag, just not in the cards for them.

As for the other rounds you mentioned, nothing comes close to the 500 mag. I happen to own a couple of 480 Ruger's and 454 Casull's and let me tell you, even though they are some powerful handgun, they are not on the same level as the 500 Mag. Which I happen to own a few of the 500 mags also.

As for the Taurus 500 Mag, I don't think they are making them any longer, they are junk in my opinion, now the BFR on the other hand is another great handgun.

How about a Freedom Arms .50WY? If you can afford the gun, the ammo should be no problem ;)

If it doesn't absolutely have to be a .50 caliber, how about something in a .475 Linebaugh?
