Has anyone tried the Trausch Grips on a Ruger Sp101 .357, 2" barrel? Would like to know your opinion, thanks.

had a SP 101 -357-two inch with Trausch grips. dont have either anymore. the T
grips felt good, shot good, carried good in a belt holster. no good for pocket carry, they
are well made and fit good.

I really like mine. I have shot with the factory grip, and it's a knuclke buster.
The Pachmyers are better if you like boot grips. I have carried with the Pachmyers for the last three years. Still a bit of a knuckle buster, but better then the factory.
Don't get me wrong, the factory grips carry well, and handle recoil well, but with my fat fingers, me and the back of the trigger guard have had a painful relationship.
I decided to try the Trausch ( have had Houges that came on my other Rugers)
Best thing I could have done.
I have done drill after drill, live ammo, and dry, and this grip allows me to get my grip right the first time, and every time. I haven't had to grip, and readjust.
Recoil is better with the Trausch. Fit and finish are perfect.
Make sure you read the order form, and match pictures from the notes to make sure you get the right fit, older models, compared to newer, slight difference in frame cuts, at the grip stud.
As for the size, they are actually only a half inch longer then the factory. grip. they are wider front to back, wich does make them look bigger, but compared to the Pachmayer grip they actually make my SP101 feel slimmer in my hand.
So if you haven't guessed by now. I love the Trausch grip.
And also I have always carried my SP101 in my right front pocket, and can still do so with the Trausch. That was one of my concerns before I bought it.

I have seemed to lean toward Hogue 's soft rubber grips for my large or pocket revolvers thru the years. may not allways look the best but work well and hang on to my hands when shooting. Used a set on a taurus 85 for not sure how many years, lots. That was my pocket pistol for 20 years.
