Rg 66

I've ben fussing about squirrels in my pecan trees and a friend gave me a RG66 9.5 inch barrel.Will this revolver shoot 22 shorts?

It say's 22 lr on barrel. I think short, long, and lr will work.

What say you.

.22 Short fits and fires in a Long Rifle chamber in a similar fashion to, say, the .38 Special in a .357 Magnum.

It does, but for squirrels, a .22LR is more humane.

Squirrels are tough and they make good eating. I wouldn't kill them just to save some pecans, though. You can get some squirrel repellent here and here.

The RG 66 is the second gun I ever owned. It was nickel or chrome plated and didn't shoot to point of aim. If you do shoot it, make sure you practice and find out where the POA is. I finally graduated to a Ruger Single-Six.
