I had seen a really innovative backpack a few years ago and now cant find it. I was wondering if anyone could help.
The backpack had a shallow pocket or holster on the lower right (or left) side of the pack where you put the butt of your rifle and an attachment point on the front of the right shoulder strap where you attached the front of the stock. These points were independent of any sling you were using.
When the rifle was attached to the backpack it ran up your right side with the butt near your right butt cheek, the optic under your arm, the barrel section in front of your right shoulder and the muzzle ending up right in front of your face (right side). The rifle was secure and at the ready (just detach the attachment point on the front of the right shoulder strap with your left hand and bring it up out of the holster to your shoulder), and you had the ability to use your hands to scramble over rocks, use ski poles, do other stuff ... without having to worry whether your rifle was going to get in the way.
Has anyone seen this type of thing?
Thanks
