Ha! That is weird to say the least - so he drills & taps to turn a scout rifle into a normal rifle - :shakehead:

Curt Behnke is a character from a book written by one of our members. The book is very well known.

Bubba strikes again! And probably had to mortgage the trailer for that rig.

It is the second one I get, even while missing the literary reference, but what have bubbaized rifles to do with a small island near Venice?

(Where, oh where, is that tongue-in-cheek smiley?)

Oleg, where'd you get a picture of that poor scout rifle??

The caption is great on that picture. Only thing better would be feeding it reloads of unknown origin for $5/20.

If it's possible, I'd like to know who this author is (no screen names necessary), and what the title of the book is. I ask because I'd like to support a fellow member and gun owner. But without a name of author or book, it makes it hard to do.

Thanks Oleg, I'll be sure to look him up next time I'm at the book store. Though I'm pretty sure that I've heard of the book, possibly off of the Fox News Channel.
