iamkris, do you need a personal assistant? Maybe a butler? Or a driver? Anything? I wouldn't need money, you could just pay me by letting me have a day at the range once a week with some of those. :D

My newest, an ArmaLite AR10a4cbf wearing a Burris EuroDiamond 3-10x40 in a larue mount. She accompanies a Sako finnbear 30-06, a ruger 10/22, and a dpms 24" ar-15 (not pictured)

A Winchester 94 carbine made in 1927. I had a spare barrel cut to 16 1/2". It had a long hard life, but still works perfectly. It's my rainy weather carry gun when dog walking when not in grizzly country. Pic was early June this year.

A 1950's 94 out grouse hunting. 3grs Unique w/ a .310" round ball makes a great grouse and small game load, with a real rifle (compared to a .22) for whatever else you may bump into.

Winchester model 71 .348 cal, up at about 10,000 ft elevation in July. It's been the summer carry gun up on the mountain lately, and getting more use as the grouse gun since getting a load worked out with some .350" round balls ahead of 4 grs red dot. With the magazine full of 250 gr Barnes loads for backup in grizzly country, it's a lot more gun than the 94.

Hey malamute, could you please tell me where you are, roughly? That first pic may very well be the most beautiful spot on earth. Nice rifle, too!

3pairs12 I love that guide gun H20

Thanks!

It's currently at Clements Custom Guns for some mods and a tune-up.
I'll post pictures of the finished rifle in a month or so.

Malamute, that looks like Alaska.

And he's just gettin warmed up, guys. dubbleA, I want to personally welcome you to THR and hope you stay for a long time. Finally someone with a fat wallet AND fantastic taste in rifles! Though I wouln't mind iamkris adopting me, I would work as a slave around dubbleA's place and sleep in the barn to get to shoot all those! :)

Give me a break, I'm just getting started. I hope to build up a modest collection over the coming years. The next item on the wish list is a 5.56 upper for the AR.

Unfortunately, we've had LOTS of issues with that 22LR AR (failure to chamber, failure to extract, bolt carrier coming off the charging handle while firing) and it's currently back at Rock River Arms waiting to be fixed or replaced. Hope to get it back soon, it was fun and cheap to shoot the few times at the range it wasn't having issues.

iamkris, two questions:
a) what kind of job do you have?
b) how many years did it take to build up that collection?

Very, very impressive. Which ones do you shoot the most?

M38 Swede, demonstrating that even old guys with terrible eyesight can shoot iron sights, given enough time.

This is known over at Rimfire Central as a 10/22 starter kit.

a) what kind of job do you have? A highly stressful, very frustrating one
b) how many years did it take to build up that collection? Been shooting and acquiring guns since I was 10, and I just turned 44

Which ones do you shoot the most? Depends on what I'm interested in. Lately, it has been the 03 and the Garands.
