One handgun.... check
One shotgun.... check
One rifle.... Need help!

Ok so I plan to purchase a .22 rifle BUT I also want to get a stronger caliber rifle such as a 30-06 or somthing of the sort. I want a caliber that I can hunt large game with at LONG distances and/or do some VERY ACCURATE target shooting for fun.... what do you guys reccomend for a large caliber rifle that is accurate and powerful?? List 'em!

T3 .300 win short mag

Tikka T3 you choose the finish and stock. Maybe in 300 win short mag? You could use it up to black bear\moose. If you only are going to get one rifle get a larger caliber so you do not limit its uses.

A wise man (my Grandfather) once told me "you can always use too much gun successfully but are seldom successful with too little". ;)

Ripcurl;

It would help considerably if you'd state what type of game you are anticipating shooting. And, what do you consider long range?

For most people, something in the 6.5mm - .30 caliber range will do the trick on most game animals at any reasonable range. Both the 6.5 Swede and the .300 Winchester magnum have gold-plated reputations as being accurate. Both can, and do, punch paper at a thousand yards. And both can cleanly kill at 300 yards. Neither is magic, you have to have the ability to be accurate yourself.
