Hello the highroad,

I need some important information on which swivels you are running on your primary hunting rifle. I am set to receive my model 70 featherweight Winchester from the Smith sometime this month.

I have a host of new accessories I will install as soon as he gives it back including Leupold scope caps, Galco Butt Cuff, and the just of this thread, a Galco Safari Ching Sling

I recently ordered a pair of mill spec swivels however upon receiving them I realized I had ordered 1 1/4 swivels I believe their uncle Mike's. I looked on the website to see if uncle Mike's furnished 1" and they do not?

I would rather order the best first. So please chin in? Can u provide a website? Or images of what your running. Swivels don't seem like a big deal but then again they're holding a couple thousand dollars I'd rather spend 10 or 20 extra bucks rather than have to repair a couple thousand dollar investment :banghead:

Thanks THR!

I've used those listed below and can attest that they're well made. Whatever you get, be sure they're all metal. Some have plastic this and that and will even break. For as much as sling swivels don't cost, it's worth it to get good ones.

The only thing I don't like about them is that they're not quite big enough to feed a Biothane sling through but you shouldn't have that problem.

I believe they make a plastic coated swivel. No clanking noise. Plus it doesn`t
leave any marks on the stock. I think.

Grumulkin! Thanks ordered a pair last week along with some remmy brass, accubond 140s, and a two boxes a partitions 150 for the 270 win!

Project complete!
