Hi, Gents! This is from "rifle country" but I didn't get any answers there - would love it if somebody could explain this - below is a copy of the post:
I was wondering - you know the rifle targets that have a regular bull and also have a smaller square printed on the target, usually above the bull? I should know this, 'cause I've been shooting since rocks were invented, but just exactly what's the square used for? I'm sure I'm supposed be using it to line up my crosshairs or something, but just how it's intended to be used is my mystery. Could one of you fine folks please explain the proper use and give me some practical 'how to' info on it? Thanks much!
