I just got a Remington 870 Express Tactical and it has a hot little choke on it that extends about an inch and a half beyond the barrel. It can be removed without having to get out that damn tool.

I want to know if anyone knows of an extended choke such as the one I'm describing, but with rifling. I've heard that aliens of all types are weak against shotgun slugs to the jaw, so I want to have a rifled choke on hand just in case E.T. lands with ill intentions.:uhoh:

Also a question regarding tactical slings. I recently received and sent back a Galco BATTL sling. This thing looked alot like mountain climbing gear. Needless to say, it seemed a little too complicated. Today I got a TacStar tactical sling, which there isn't much to. It could maybe work, but still isn't what I've been looking for. I've seen a system from Tapco which seems to offer any configuration without being too complex. Any thoughts on tactical slings?

Remington makes an extended rifled choke tube. It works well with slugs, either foster or sabot but will completely jack up any buckshot pattern.

I use one.

I have a remington rifled choke tube, extended kind. I use it for deer hunting in Illinois as we can't use rifles. Mine is accurate with Brenneke KO and Remington 7/8 ounce rifled slugs around 2 inches at 50 yards. Good enough for woods hunting.

At 50 yards about the best I could do is 3 to 5 inch groups with Remington and Winchester foster slugs and an improved cyl tube. With the rifled tube in place I get cloverleafs, shots be touching. I haven't played around with the sabot slugs.

The rifled choke isn't for home defense, that's what my tactical choke is for. The rifled choke is for NATIONAL defense, seeing as how I don't yet own a rifle.

I guess you just haven't been paying close enough attention as to what's really going on with our country. The US Constitution can't pick up a gun to defend itself. It has us for that. Be ready, partner. The NRA sure isn't going to help us.
