What guns are on your rifle life list? For me it would be:
  • Swedish Mauser
  • Something in 338 Lapua
  • Garand
  • Something black powder
  • Anschutz biathlon rifle
Probably others, but that's a start.

I've shot and owned at least 3 of those listed, not to mention 600 Nitro Express, just one time however, I would not want to ever shoot that beast ever again. Off hand I can't think of any rifle I would like to shoot that I haven't ever had the opportunity to shoot before. Having been in the USMC back in the mid 60's and having been around firearms all my life it is really hard to come up with a list.

Well i guess i have to shoot all of the ones i can get my hands on.....das muh list....

Really i cant think of any must shoots besides atleast one with a fun switch. Tho a big bpcr rifle might be on my must own list.....

I would like to shoot any high grade rifle by holland and holland, in at least 375 h&h. I would also like to shoot a 50bmg barret suppressed, and an armalite 25mm recoilless. I'd also like to shoot a ruger #1 in 35 whelen... One of these i can make happen...

My bucket list is a 50 bmg, belt fed 308 full auto, a 2mm pin fire revolver, 17 Remington rifle, and 30/378 weatherby, 460 weatherby, 460 s&w, swiss solothurn S 18 and/or a 20mm vulcan rifle, a 32-pounder canon and a rifle that shoots 1/4 moa accuracy consistently, don't care what it is. I guess you might say these are mostly "own someday" buckets list items, but I will probably just settle for shooting the 50 bmg and the 308 beltfed, 22mm and the big canon if I am lucky.

I'd like to shoot all the ones in my safe at least a few times a year

The two I really need to shoot are my 7WM Remington 700 set up for 1,000 yards, and my Browning BPCR (one of 328 made) also set up for 1,000 yards

Full custom home built muzzle loading rifle.
Custom home built Savage 10 .277 weatherby
Whitworth cannon
Ppsh (as built burp gun)
Anschutz biathlon rifle
Sharps 50-110
Sharps carbine 45-70

And for grits and shins...GE minigun.

Number one on my list used to be a full auto rifle, but I've been fortunate to fire one. It was a Galil variant in South Africa.

At present my list has three items:

1) Any .50 BMG
2) One of the Airrow archery guns
3) Gyrojet Carbine

I've had the opportunity to shoot every cartridge US military rifle and just about every other military rifle in worldwide use made in the last 100 years or more. I've even shot sniper rifles that cost as much as a new Harley. Don't really care to fire safari calibers. The only one that comes to mind that I would like to try is a WW2 FG-42.

GAU-8
Mini gun
Bofors
One of the big double guns for African game

Yes, a 40mm Bofors would top my list.

While I really do not have a burning desire to shoot any particular weapon, I would not pass up an opportunity to shoot anything that is related to my interests in history.

Just one. Everyone should get to fire a four bore elephant rifle. One that uses 385 grains of 1F to push a 2000 grain conical bullet fast enough to top a 460 Weatherby in the muzzle energy category.

Just so they can know what a REALLY hard kicking gun feels like.

I know, there is a long list of calibers that are more punishing to shoot.....but there is something about that cannon like roar and creating a cloud of smoke the size of a small garage... I love the smell of burnt sulfur in the morning.

I'll pass, I value my retinas too much.

WA-2000
AM15
Lahti L-39

I have actually shot a Lahti, we were using old WW2 ammo and the first shot was a dud... Click-no-boom sure makes you nervous with your head right there next to that beast. The second round fired, recoil is.... Stiff, not sure if I hit what I was aiming at or not.

Fixed it for ya Tark!!!:D:p

kidding, id do it if you did it first.....

I'd like to shoot whatever rifle our military outfits snipers with. Additionally, I'd like to shoot it in the presence of, and with the guidance of the rifle's owner, if that's what the military considers it.

GE M134. The Lahti L-39 is a cool answer. I would have never thought of that.
