I don't remember the brands or models of these rifles but I have seen some that come with integral red dot sights. I don't believe they had open sights as well.

So I wonder, if the battery in the red dot sight dies, how do you aim the gun??

I'm not sure what you're talking about as for rifles with integral red dots, but in the case of my M1A SOCOM, I have a Trijicon Tripower on the front rail. It has three power sources, so losing my chevron recticle is unlikely, but even still, I have done drills with the scope powered off and fiberoptics covered. Essentially, you would use it like a large ghost ring - centering the target in the glass and having at it. On man-sized targets it works effectively at making "minute-of-man" hits out to 200-yards. I have since put a LaRue throwlever on my Trijicon and in a pinch, would simply throw the lever and toss the scope into my pocket...

For me, I'm not sure I'd put much faith in a rifle that depended solely on electronics - I'd have to have some kind of BUIS....

The Steyr AUG has integral optical sight, but it is not a red dot. I'm not aware of any rifles that come with an integral red dot sight only.

The FN P90 has an integral red dot sight. At least in one of the versions.

Pretty sure the CR-21 had an integral red dot sight. It was fiber optic powered though, so there were no batteries to exhaust.
