Rings for a SAKO AV 300 Winmag

Picked up a Sako A V in 300 Win mag in pretty nice shape for $500 out the door.

Anyways, not impressed with the rings. Look like Leupolds. Mehh. Don't seem to fit the scope too well.

Is Warne not making Sako rings anymore?
Did Beretta buy Warne?

I like the S&K skulpted stuff, but not sure if they hold up.

You guys think they'd survive on a 300 Win Mag?

What scope are you using? What exactly do you mean by Leupolds don't fit the scope well? I use the Leupold mounts on several Sakos. I'm not sure what is up with Warne think they might be having a hard time keeping up with production right now. Think they just added new equipment recently.

As far as I know Beretta does not own Warne unless something has changed recently. Both Leupold and Warne are within an hours drive from me.

Don't know where I got that Beretta bought Warne.

Height is probably acceptable. Could be a touch lower but not much. Zeiss 4.5-14x44 Conquest.

The rings with the scope in them don't go together too smoothly. You have to force the caps on.
