I once again come to THR for a reality check. Assumptions being tested are:
1. A properly set-up, modern S&W double action will eventually grow a cylinder ring. Cylinder stop is actuated by trigger and not timed to delicately drop into the recess (?)
2. A properly set-up SAA, clone or replica with similar mechanicals is near impossible to induce a cylinder ring. Cylinder bolt is tied to the hammer and drops into the recessed portion (?)
Correct?
Is a Colt double action something different?
