I just got a new 5# jug of reloader15 and it says Made in the USA on the front label. Is Alliant now making it themselves? ALso are their new ball powders made in house or by someone else? Not that it matters alot, but I do like to know where their sourcing from. Maybe I'm being anal, but just from a consistency stand point, I want to know where its coming from. Accurate jumped around for a few years between Israel ,Czech Republic, and now I guess its Belgium. And although I never noticed any major differences between lots, a steady consistent supply from a reputable source can only be a good thing. Holler if you have any info on this. Thanks.

whats the date on the jug?

an what kind of deal did you get on 5#, mulling it over, i think i will save over local stores even if i only buy one 5lb jug and pay hazmat!

I have a 1 pounder of RL15 that's dated 03mar08 and it says made in Sweden. If it's being made in USA now and shoots like the Sweden made RL15, I may get that instead of IMR 4064 when it's time to get a 5 pounder. Am I pipe dreaming to hope it's less expensive if it's made in USA?

John

The production date is Jan 19 09, and I believe I paid $90 for #5.

cool....id save 30 bucks over local, pays for hazmat an shippin if i get other stuff too:D

mine is January, june, and july 2008 still made in sweeden

Mystery solved. Received Email reply from Alliant. Labels are wrong, Reloader series still made in Sweden. With the exception of Re17, made in Switzerland.
