Not exactly sure. I've got 200 loaded up for BC testing this weekend, I've been estimating 0.165 G7 and that's close enough to drop porcupines at 300 yards. I'll know more after drop and wind tests.

Welp, again, I appreciate all the input and I'll chalk this one up to experience. Only tried 3 loads, no chrono, just looking for pressure, and a load with TAC in Norma brass has no issues around what I started with for 69g Barnes.

I'll keep working up the load and get some good ranged tests / chrono in and I'll update!

It is possible that your calipers are rounding up. We do get some at .2245 -.2246 on our calipers. You are right that the RMR 2nds are just a little bit fatter than .224 but they won't cause any issues. The 2nds have been shooting well for people. We are almost ready to start producing them again. I think we need to get a couple of new dies to eliminate that ring around the beginning of the ogive. Once we get that figured out I think we will be back in business.

Thanks !! I'll be ready for some more 9MM, and I want to try a heavier .224 projectile as well. I want to give these a try. I've been impressed with your other products. Hopefully you'll be running them by the time I'm ready to order again.

The other micrometer thread just reminded me of this thread. I measured mine a week ago with a micrometer and mine are .2252”. No matter, just means they fill the throat better.
