Use Hodgdon 125gr data. 124gr on Hodgdon site gives you Berry's plated start.

Not sure this will help you, but my barrel is just the stock Walther PPQ barrel, and my loading data for the RMR 124 gn RN Match is:

Bullet: 124 gn RMR RNP Match
Primer: CCI #500
Charge: 4.6 gn W231
OAL: 1.110 (inches)

Obviously, determine your W231 charge carefully!

I have loaded as short as 1.10 and as long as 1.14 with this bullet for good effect. It works in most of my 9mm guns @1.14 COAL.

However, that is too long for my P938 (light strikes even though it plunks just fine). It likes 1.13 COAL.

4.4gr of W231 feels about like commercial defense loads. You can load lighter or heavier depending on your firearm and what it takes to cycle the action. 4.8gr is as heavy as I have tried (no issues at all, but it’s noticeably stronger recoiling—a hot load).

Stick with published load data ranges in your favorite manual and work up your loads for YOUR gun.

This bullet has a rather blunt profile so you may need to load it shorter than what some manuals list.

It’s a good shooting bullet. I really like the RMR products.

I’ve shot the RMR 9mm FMJs in my: BHP, P938, RIA 1911, and Hi-Point carbine.

I use the RMR 124 rn fmj with 4.2 gr of 231 at 1.130-135 oal. shoots great.

For decades, 115 gr FMJ with 4.8 gr W231/HP-38 at 1.130"-1.135" and 124 gr FMJ with 4.3 gr W231/HP-38 at 1.135-1.145 have been my 9mm reference loads.

In recent years, I have loaded them shorter with greater accuracy.

For decades, 115 gr FMJ with 4.8 gr W231/HP-38 at 1.130"-1.135" and 124 gr FMJ with 4.3 gr W231/HP-38 at 1.135-1.145 have been my 9mm reference loads.

I just started working a load for 125 gr FMJ myself. With W231 I started at 4.4 and worked up. They were ok but trying to find something that will work in 3 pistols the higher charges were more than what I wanted in my smaller arms. I decided to go down to 4.2-4.3 and last night that was my most accurate at 1.140 COL. Seems like I'm right near your reference load. I may shorten them just a touch to see if I can improve them a bit to see if it improves at all.

Sorry Dave I only have data for Hornady 124g FMJ RN and Speer 124g TMJ RN it is with HP-38

Maybe you should call RMR and ask them for the BC and SD? For your information, Speer 124g TMJ RN is 0.159 and 0.141, Hornady 124g FMJ RN is 0.145 and 0.141 Load data for those two are in their respective load manuals. I wish you the best of luck Dave.

Why would you need different data for Hornady and Speer bullets compared to the RMR bullets or any other 124/125gr bullets? Of course HP-38 and W231 are exactly the same powder so that data is good with the RMR bullets.

No problemo that I see... Zero Bullets load spec sheet, was 5 grains of HP38/WW231.

I used the first PP date released from Hercules circa 1995, at the time of release, and boy if you liked it hot you got it. Max was 6.6 grains of PP, and a 125 grain FMJ (I used WW 124 grain FMJ)... This was also the time where Unique had a 6.2 grain max, and achieved very similar velocities. I used Remington 124 grain JHP's too, and their performance was very, very good; Great expansion, good accuracy, and no blown cores.

I just recently started using it and I like power pistol alot.

For others that have not used it, its basically a modernized Unique. Its an extruded powder so its in the same family as bullseye, unique, and 2400. Burn rate is similar to unique, but the grain size is about the same as bullseye so it meters better and burns much cleaner. Rumor has it that BE86 is power pistol with a flash suppressant added.
